Inequalities are mathematical expressions involving the symbols; GREATER THAN, LESS THAN, GREATER OR EQUAL TO, and LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO. To ‘solve’ an inequality means to find a range, or ranges of values that an unknown such as ‘x’ can take on and still satisfy the inequality. This tutorial will focus on the rules for manipulating these inequalities.
