The CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration) is an independent body that was established on the 11th of November 1996 to resolve disputes in the workplace by means of conciliation or arbitration if no resolution could be reached through mediation.  In this tutorial we will aim to better understand the purpose and function of the CCMA.
