What is lateral thinking?

Video Overview

In today’s economy innovation is critical, and if you’re able to come up with a new gadget or method of doing things, you could easily have the upper hand in the marketplace. Obviously achieving something like this isn’t easy, and you can’t just rehash old ideas and hope that customers will play ball, at least not forever. Innovation doesn’t just come about from thinking in a set way – you can use logic and rationality all you like, but this a highly academic process that, while important, can’t be used exclusively to create something new. True innovation comes to pass as a result of lateral thinking, and this is what this video is about.
