Calculating the area of a triangle
ID:CVCATR

Video Overview

Area is a two-dimensional quantity representing the amount or extent of a surface. Finding the area of a triangle is easier than it seems. To find the area of a triangle, we usually multiply the base by the height, and then divide by 2, but sometimes it is not very clear where the base and the height is on the triangle being worked on, and in some cases the height is not given at all. In this tutorial we will calculate the area of two types of triangles, the right triangle and the acute triangle.
