Video Overview

A linear equation is an equation for a straight line. Most linear equations have the general form of y = mx + c, where the ‘m’ represents the gradient or slope of our straight line and ‘c’ represents the y-intercept value. In business, linear equations are about the use of known quantities to discover unknown quantities. We will kick off this tutorial by looking at the equation structure of a typical linear equation.
