Video Overview

The standard hour is a tool that can be used to measure factory output. If each individual product is allocated a set standard time in which one unit is completed for each different product, then output can be measured in time. If the total time is greater than last period’s output, then there has been an improvement in output levels. If the total time is less than last period’s output, then there has been a decrease in output levels. In this tutorial we will discuss the standard hour, and use it to measure whether total output has increased or decreased.
