ID:CVBDMS

Video Overview

The 'order of operations' is a rule used to indicate which procedures should be performed first in a given mathematical expression. BODMAS refers to the order of operations in a sum, which is a method of working out whether one needs to multiply before addition, solve brackets before subtracting, and so on. In this tutorial we work through two examples to demonstrate how BODAMS can be applied to solve a given mathematical expression.
